Composer, conductor, and pianist known for "Three Winter Pieces for Piano." He composed more than 100 symphonic, operatic, and orchestral works between 1978 and 2013.
He studied piano, chamber music, and composition at conservatories in both Salzburg and Paris before starting his career. His teachers included such notables as Cesar Bresgen and Gerhard Wimberger.
He was named an officer of the Order of Adolphe of Nassau in 1999 by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
