Polish musician whose technical mastery of numerous composers earned him worldwide acclaim.
He graduated from the Academy of Music in Krakow where he was a student of Tadeusz Żmudziński.
He recorded the complete piano works of Alberto Ginastera, as well as selections from the works of Karol Szymanowski and Aleksander Tansman.
He was born in Krosno, a town and county in Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Poland, and the location of the world's first oil well.
His recordings also included the works of fellow Pole Frederic Chopin.
