Bethania de la Cruz

About

Professional volleyball player who has played for the Dominican women's national team. She has won gold medals with the national team at the 2009 NORCECA Championship and the 2010 Pan-American Cup. On the club level, she has played for Kazakh club Altay Volleyball Club. 

Before Fame

At the 2006 U-20 NORCECA Women's Junior Continental Championship, she played for the junior national team and won a silver medal. She also won the Most Valuable Player and Best Scorer awards during the competition. 

Trivia

She has played with numerous international volleyball clubs in her career. Some of these clubs include Indonesian team Jakarta Pertamina Energi and Russian team Dynamo Kazan. 

Family Life

She has a son called Fer de la Cruz.

In September 2023, she posted a dance video on her thebigbeth Instagram account, and the video featured Dominican Republic national teammate Brenda Castillo.
