About

Former professional soccer player and coach who most recently served as the manager of Atletico Terme Fiuggi until the end of the 2020-21 season. After his retirement, he became a sportscaster and commentator, as well as a freelance journalist. He has served as councilor for sport in his hometown of Fiuggi, and in 2023, the Deputy Prime Minister selected him to become the advisor for youth and sports issues. During his time as a player, he made over 335 appearances and scored 70 goals in Serie A and Serie B.

Before Fame

He launched his soccer playing career as a striker for Associazione Calcio Milan in the Serie A. He remained with A.C. Milan from 1981 to 1985, and played for other teams such as Atalanta B.C. and Pisa Calcio before closing his on-field career in 1995 while playing for Ascoli.

Trivia

Among many additional accolades, he is the winner of the 1982 Miltropa Cup and the 1990 Supercoppa Italiana. At the 1989 Miltropa Cup, he was also named the top scorer.
