About

NFL center that was a five champion during his 10-year playing career. He was originally selected by the Green Bay Packers during the eighth round of the 1964 NFL Draft. Shortly after retiring from his NFL career, he then began playing professionally in the World Football League,

Before Fame

Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of Wisconsin. As a junior, he won the 1962 Big Ten conference championship. 

Trivia

While playing with the Green Bay Packers, he won Super Bowl I and II. In 1981, he was inducted into the Green Packers Hall of Fame. 

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Milan, Illinois.
