Former NFL quarterback and high school coach who played professionally for two seasons as a member of the San Francisco 49ers and the Calgary Stampeders of Canadian Football League. He was also drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers during the 11th Round of the 1982 MLB Draft as a senior at North Dallas High School.

He attended Texas A&M University where he finished his collegiate career 25-6-1 as a starter.
