Paul Williams

About

Baritone singer who rose to fame as a founding member of the Motown group The Temptations. Several of his standout recordings with the band include the songs "I Want a Love I Can See" and "Farewell My Love." His declining health led to an early retirement prior to his death in 1973. 

Before Fame

As a teenager, he and his friends formed a singing group called The Cavaliers. 

Trivia

He choreographed performances for both The Temptations and The Supremes. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. 

Family Life

He was the son of Sophia and Rufus Williams.
