Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is best known for being the lead singer and creator of the musical project Sleeping at Last alongside his brother Chad as the drummer and Dan Perdue as the bassist.

His project was originally formed in 1999 in Wheaton, Illinois.

The band's songs such as "Homesick," "Watermark," "Tethered," and "Turning Page" have been featured on movies and shows including Private Practice, Grey's Anatomy and Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1.

Family Life

His brother Chad O'Neal was the drummer for Sleeping at Last until 2008. He and his wife Cayt O'neal have two daughters.

After the release of the band's album Capture in 2000, they caught the attention of Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, who helped them get signed to a major record label, Interscope Records.
