British comedian who has performed stand-up comedy numerous times at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. During his show at the 2006 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, he revealed his homosexuality to his audience for the first time. In June 2010, he performed a comedy set on the main stage at the London Pride Parade.
Before Fame
When he began doing comedy, he initially did not tell his parents. Instead, he told them that he had a minicab-driving job. His parents found out about his career after he invited them to his 3500-seat Hammersmith Apollo show in London.
