About
Former Australian competitive swimmer who won a gold medal in the 200 meter breaststroke at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and a silver medal at the 4 × 100 m medley relay during the 2016 Summer Olympics. She announced her retirement from competitive swimming after the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Before Fame
In 2010, she won her first national titles in the 100m and 200m breaststroke at the age of 15. In 2012, she graduated from Grace Lutheran College. She studied Animal Ecology at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Trivia
She has worked at Adreno Freediving since 2021. She is also the swimming coach at Griffith University and at Achievers Swim Academy.
Family Life
Her mother is Sharon McKeown. Her sister is Olympic champion swimmer Kaylee McKeown.
